Disposable Cleaning Wipes Recipes
(or make them reusable!)

Disposable cleaning wipes are used in several ways to make your home a kid-friendly, baby safe house. I tend to be a bit of a germiphobe and found myself getting a little addicted to anti-bacterial products. But the harsh chemicals really take a toll on my hands, leaving them dry and cracking.

Thus, the search for a safe and effective disposable cleaning wipes recipe! With these cleaning wipes, you can even recruit some help from the little ones while feeling good about the products they're using around your home.

Utilizing the knowledge of coconut oil benefits, here are some of the recipes that I like to use:

Disposable Cleaning Wipes for Dusting

These cleaning wipes are ideal as they are customizable to your specific preferences and needs. This recipe does have some oil in it to attract the dust and leave a light shine to the surface. They are great for general surfaces like wood and tile but won't work well for glass.

20 heavy-duty dinner napkins

1 C Warmed Distilled Water or Aloe Vera Water, slightly cooled

1 T Carrier Oil (I make my recipes with coconut oil but olive oil or sweet almond oil is great also!)

5 drops of Lemon & 5 drops of Basil Essential Oil for a healthy synergy

Eucalyptus or Melaleuca Essential Oils to clean during cold season

or

10 Drops of one of your favorite Essential Oils Recipes

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Simply fold the napkins in half and place them into a deep dish. A bread pan is a perfect size.
2. Pour your carrier oil into the cup of warm water and add your essential oils.
3. Slowly pour half of the the water/oil mixture around the sides of the napkins and the rest on the top of the napkins.
4. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and let the napkins sit and soak up the liquid for an hour.
5. Remove the napkins and place into a clean, reusable baby wipes container.
6. Label & Enjoy! **Since there are no artificial preservatives, use these within a month or keep in the refrigerator.**
TIP: For dusting, If you don't want to use disposable cleaning wipes but love the idea of homemade cleaning solutions, I've also cut an old cotton t-shirt into squares, about 7x9, and soaked them in the dusting solution. After use, I throw them into a special bag just for my cleaning towels and wash as usual. Less waste and keeps all of the homemade natural cleaner benefits.
The coconut oil benefits are tremendous for your hands and will work to protect them instead of drying them out! How to Make Glass Cleaner Wipes (stainless steel too!)
Homemade glass cleaner wipes are a great disposable cleaning wipe that works well for a quick kitchen wipe down of your stainless appliances, wiping down the bathroom mirrors, and easy glass cleaner wipes on your inside car windows.
