Well, if chocolate is the way to a man's heart, these homemade bath fizzies are the way to a girl's heart!  That's right!  These bath bombs, made of luscious sweet smelling fragrances and decorated beautifully, will make easy, easy homemade gift ideas!

With the skin-softening properties of olive oil and real cocoa butter, baking soda & cornstarch for skin conditioning, and citric acid adding some fun fuzz and fizzle...you're really going to LOVE these!

Homemade Bath Fizzies

Ingredients

2 oz Cocoa Butter

2 1/2 oz Citric Acid

5 oz Baking Soda

1 oz Corn Starch

1/2 tsp Olive Oil or any carrier oil

1 tsp. Fragrance or Essential Oils

Skin safe mica coloring or food coloring

  • Melt the cocoa butter and the olive oil over a double boiler or in the microwave-30 second spurts
  • Meanwhile, mix all dry ingredients together and set aside.
  • Add your scents to the melted oils & the coloring products to the dry ingredients if desired.
  • Stir the oils into the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  • Let the mixture cool, stirring periodically. You can put this into the refrigerator to speed up the process.
  • As the cocoa butter/powder mix starts to cool, it will harden enough to hold a shape.
  • Shape each bath truffle into a ball and then roll into the sprinkles and colored sugars.  
  • These can still be molded and rounded out as they cool.
  • I like to package them in little candy boxes!  So much fun to indulge in~yet no calories!
