I love these cute little heart shaped pots I found! These make wonderful, homemade valentine gifts <3 or even cheap wedding favors.
To make lip gloss~first put your liquid oils into a small glass measuring cup or bowl and place into a shallow pan on high heat. Add the beeswax and let it melt into the oils. Using a measuring cup will make it easier to pour into your lip gloss containers.
Take the warmed oil mixture off of the heat and stir in the shea butter until it's melted. You don't want to heat the shea butter on the oven as it gets grainy if it gets too hot.
Now add 1 tsp of cocoa powder into your oils. Stir it well until it's smooth and consistent. Add 2 drops of the peppermint essential oil if desired.
Pour the mixture into your lip gloss pots or other containers of your choice.
Voila! In just a few minutes you've made some wonderfully creative gifts for your friends and family.
Now, I'm not a doctor and neither is my husband. Or, as a matter of fact, no one in my family is. I'm simply a mom who's done hours of research and experimentation with natural cold remedies on my family.
I really do hope that some of these natural remedies work for you as well, but if not, I'm sorry. If you have any hesitation, please visit your family physician with any concerns.
